FORMER Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina has narrated why Buhari called ‘Jesus’ when Prof. Yemi Osinbajo survived a helicopter crash.
He disclosed this in his book titled, ‘Working with Buhari: Reflections of A Special Adviser, Media, and Publicity (2015-2023)’.

In February 2019, the Vice President had survived death as his helicopter crash-landed in Kogi State. The President publicly rejoiced with him, and then at the next Federal Executive Council meeting, he congratulated the VP again. “Humorously, he said: ‘I can imagine that when the chopper crashed with a bang, VP as a pastor must have shouted, Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! And fortunately, Jesus was not far away, so He saved him’.
According to the former President’s Spokesperson, Buhari is far from a bigot, most people perceive him as one.
