HIJRAH: OSUN State Declares Public Holiday

GOVERNOR of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has declared Monday, July 8, 2024 public holiday to celebrate Islamic New Year, ‘Hijirah 1446AH’.

 

The Press Release signed by the Honourable Commissioner of Home Affairs, Hon. R.K. Aderibigbe enjoined all Muslim Faithfuls to use the celebration to pray for the peace, progress and development of Osun State And Nigeria in general.

“This is to inform the general public that His Excellency the Governor of
Osun State Dr. Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke has declared Monday 8th July, 2024 as public holiday to celebrate Islamic New year Hijirah 1446AH.
