Olakunle Alimi, also known as Bobagunwa 1, at the early hours of Friday, was assassinated by unknown gunmen in Ibadan.
Olakunle Alimi used to be a cinematographer and has worked with many prominent actors and actresses in the Yoruba movie industry.
A close relative to Mr. Olakunle who didn’t want to be mentioned said narrated how Mr. Olakunle met with his unfortunate untimely death at Odinjo, Muslim Area in Ibadan.
“Mr Olakunle is a very nice and easy-going man. He’s a polygamist, has many wives and children. But only two of those wives are currently in his home.
“He however brought a strange woman to his residence in Ayegun Area late at night on Thursday around 9pm. He didn’t tell his wives or children about her, and however, had fun with the woman all through the night”.
“As early as 5:30 a.m on Friday, the deceased and the woman set out to drop the woman at her own residence in Odinjo”.
“After dropping her, the gunmen pursued his Newly acquired “Toyota Rav 4″ and shot him in the chest”
Olakunle Alimi died in his early 30s, and is survived by many wives and children.
