The Honourable representing Ijesha South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, and the APC candidate for Osun East Senatorial District in the 2019 election, Hon. Israel Ajibola Famurewa stormed Atakumosa Local Government on Monday with his campaign train with tumultuous crowd welcoming him.
He visited the Palace of Adimula, Oba Hezekiah Adeniyi Owolola, Ogogo 11, Adimula of Ifewara to pay homage and to receive royal blessings before commencing his campaign at the Ifewara Round-About adjacent the Town Hall.

Social Democratic Party Chieftains adopted him as their sole candidate for the Senatorial District. The Chieftain said his party has not joined the APC but adopted Hon. Famurewa as their sole candidate for the Osun Senatorial District as a result of his sterling performances in the House of Representatives.
The campaign train went through other villages to OSU Town Hall in Atakumosa West Local Government from where he was welcomed by a large crowd at the Osu Market Square.

The Iyaloja of Osu Market, COMFORT ALE aka Iya Ggbengbele, a Chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), showered praises and prayers on the Hon. Famurewa for his humility and performances in alleviating the sufferings of the downtrodden masses in his constituency. He enjoined all SDP faithful in the area to vote en-masse for him in the forthcoming senatorial election.
One of the supporters simply known as Kayode told SOJWORLD.COM that he is sure Hon. Famurewa would win the Senatorial election considering the tumultuous crowd that welcomes him to the places he visited and his performance at the lower chamber.
