The rain storm and power surge from Ibadan Distribution Company got his entire edifice housing the FM station damaged.
The newly procured transmitter to extend transmission to numerous lovers and listeners of Oodua FM got burnt by the power surge which rendered him unhappy and left the station off air for some time now.

Hon. Makinde who was a day after an elaborate empowerment of the less privilege jet out of the country is certainly not in best mood.

It should be noted that Hon. Rotimi Makinde had been at the forefront of defender of the common man in Ile-Ife constituency in particular and Osun State in general.
We hope Ogun State Government under the leadership of Governor Ibikunle Amosu will fulfill his promises to compensate all those whose houses were demolished to pave way for road expansion at Alagbole area of Ogun State.
It would be recalled that Hon Makinde wrote an open letter to the governor reminding him of the promises he made for compensation for the houses demolished.
