HOPE Across Ages Foundation on Thursday, March 20, 2025 donated foodstuffs and provisions to the Osun State FOMWAN Orphanage to put smiles on the faces of the less privilege kids.
The founder of the United Kingdom based HOPE Across Ages Foundation, Dr. Enitan Kolawole said the foundation is in Osun State to make a positive impact to bridge the gap between the poor and the rich.
Receiving the foodstuff on behalf of FOMWAN was Dr. (Mrs) Adeyemo thanked and showed appreciation for the kind gestures and support for the orphanage home.
Dr. Enitan and her team had a collaborative meeting with the Osun State Ministry of Health for their forthcoming program in October 2025 outreaches.
The Osun State Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary, Dr. Isiaka Adekunle who received the foundation promised the team of Osun State’s readiness to assist in the area of venue and manpower for the October outreaches.
He thanked the founder for her initiative for remembering and giving back to her State of Origin from the United Kingdom.
According to Dr. Enitan, October outreaches will assist the less privilege, the vulnerables with free medical care and health education in any of the communities in Osun as agreed with the State Government. The outreaches will be a four-day programme.
The programme includes:
Day 1 – Free adult medical screening, services and health education on common conditions like hypertension, diabetes, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, malaria & visual impairment screening.
Day 2 – Children free health screening, free medical services and growth development checks. Addressing malaria, malnutrition and essential vaccinations.
Day 3 – Providing training workshops to schools on conditions that have negative stigma and are overlooked in our communities. Specifically Autism, ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions.
Day 4 – Community outreach. Donating foodstuffs & essentials to underprivileged communities and visiting chosen orphanages.
