Governor Adeleke wishes his elder brother Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, the first Executive Governor of Osun State a posthumous birthday, outlining him as a patriotic leader with altruistic leadership attributes and a vehemently lover of good governance.
The Governor at the commissioning of late Isiaka Adetunji Memorial Circle, Park and Garden, alongside the wife of the late Senator Adetunji and His Royal Majesty, Oba Muniru Adeola Lawal, eulogizes past governors of the state; both the living and late, uncovering their statues and recollecting memories of his late brother whom the people of the state loved and cherished as a result of the legacy he built for the new Osun State.

Going further, Governor Adeleke praised the past military and civilian governors of the state. He said the memorial circle was for memory preservation of collection points for osun state leadership history for previous and coming generations of leaders.
“My vision is to preserve the fond memories of past Governors among which my brother, Governor Adeleke was the pioneer occupant of the democratic leadership.
I seek a point where our young ones can access details of who has governed Osun state and years of their service to the state”.

He looked back at the achievements of his elder brother mentioning that he is the current and sixth governor of the state and he is working and will continue working to carry on the legacy his brother had laid.
“I must perform and I am performing. I must deliver and I’m delivering. The best way to uphold the legacy of former Governors and especially my late brother, is to deliver on good governance”, the Governor affirmed.
The statutes was singlehandedly commissioned in presence of top officials which includes the Deputy Governor of the state, Prince Kola Adewusi; the Secretary to the State Government, Hon Teslim Igbalaye; the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon Kazeem Akinleye and members of the State Executive Council.
