One of Nigeria’s National Team striker, Jude Ighalo has announced his retirement from the Super Eagles to concentrate on club assignment and to give rooms for the younger generations.
He announced his retirement on his official Twitter Page
He said it is now time for him to concentrate on the international club and give the younger players a chance to grow.

In his tweet, he thanked the NFF and the Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr for believing in him.
Ighalo emerged highest goal scorer of the African Cup of Nations 2019.
He also won the golden boot with five goals.
