In a statement made available to SOJWORLD.COM by the Director of Information and Strategy, Fakeye Ayobami, he said nothing of such plan within the party.

“The rumour came to me as a big surprise just like every committed member of the party in the state,” Hon Akinola stated.

He however accused some politicians as being the masterminds of the rumour.

He assured all ADP members in the state of its commitment and resolves to form the next government in the state.

“I strongly believe some politicians that do not mean well for the ADP are the ones behind the rumour.

“I however want to assure members of the public and party members that nothing of such happened.

“We are not distracted by the rumour but we are rather strengthened in our resolve to form the next government in the state,” the party Chairman emphasized.

He however charged the party members not to be swayed by any rumour.  But rather stay focused until the party’s governorship candidate win the September 22 governorship election in Osun.
