AN Italian based Nigerian lady identified as Patricia Masithela, tragically lost her life after being attacked by a group of dogs in Latina, Italy.

She was aged 27.

The incident reportedly occurred on Monday night at an abandoned villa in the Lazio region, where Patricia had gone to meet a male acquaintance, Mirror UK reported.

 

Unaware that her friend was not at home, she encountered the dogs, which attacked her.

 

Neighbors were alerted by Patricia’s screams, and she was later found with severe injuries, lying in a pool of blood.

Authorities Respond
Local police intervened, shooting two of the dogs to allow emergency personnel access to Patricia. The remaining animals fled the scene following the gunfire.

Emergency responders rushed her to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital for treatment. Despite their efforts, Patricia succumbed to her injuries due to severe bite wounds and excessive blood loss.

 

A Devastating Loss
Patricia, who recently relocated to Lazio from Nigeria, leaves behind a five-year-old daughter. Her passing has left family and friends in mourning.

 

The incident has prompted an investigation by local authorities to determine the circumstances that led to the presence of the dogs in the area.
