A young man identified as Opeyemi Olufemi was arrested with Church tithes and offerings containing different denominations of cash amounting to N620,115.00 stolen from the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State.

According to a reliable source, Olufemi was intercepted by the policemen on stop-and-search patrol along Igbara-Odo/Akure highway with a motorcycle and a bag containing the huge cash.
“The suspect Opeyemi Olufemi was intercepted by policemen on stop and search duties along Igbara Odo/Akure Road, he was riding on a motorcycle with a school bag containing different denominations of Naira notes.
He could not explain the source of the money nor give accurate account of the total amount of money in the bag. He later confessed to have stolen the money from a church offering vault at CAC church Ikeji Arakeji in Osun State. The money was sorted and counted by police and it amount to #620,115.
He stole including people’s prayer requests put inside the offering.”
How he was able vanish into thin air is the mystery the police needs to unravel for the general public.
