INSIDE LIFE: Man rapes a Lady, removes her eyes in Ondo

An unidentified man allegedly raped a lady in Akure, Ondo State and removed her eyes after he has satisfied himself.

The incident occurred at Oluwatuyi area in Akure on Monday, February 2, 2021.

The suspected rapist whose identity is yet to be known was beaten to stupor by a mob for raping and plucking out the eyes of his victim (young lady) in the Ondo state capital.

The arrival of policemen stopped the rapist from being burnt to death.

Eye Witnesses told our correspondent that the suspect is an Hausa who could not say his name or where he is from.

Both the victim and the rapist are still in a state of unconsciousness at the police clinic in Akure.
Ondo Police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, confirmed the incident but said family of the victim was yet to be seen.
