A mother has cried out to the Governor of Osun State for mercy for the release of his son, Segun Olowookere sentenced to death 14 years ago for stealing a fowl.

 

The video showed the parents of the man who has already spent 14 years waiting for death by hanging.

 

According to information gathered by SOJ WORLDWIDE, Segun was arrested when he was 17.

The mother said Segun was his only child.
