INSIDE LIFE: NDLEA Arrests Fresh Graduate Of UNILORIN For Selling Drugged Cakes To Students

NDLEA has arrested a 24-year-old fresh graduate identified as Khadijat Abdulrasheed and 20-year-old student of University of Ilorin, Ayomide Morakinyo.

The duo were arrested on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Tanke-University, Ilorin Road, Oke-Odo, Ilorin, Kwara State.

In a Press Statement issued by the Director of Media Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, said the operatives  recovered drugged cakes from their apartment when searched.

“In Kwara state, a fresh graduate Khadijat Abdulraheem, 24, and a 20-year-old student of the University of Ilorin, Ayomide Morakinyo were on Sunday 29th December 2024 arrested by NDLEA operatives at Tanke-University of Ilorin road, Oke Odo, Ilorin based on credible intelligence that they were producing and selling drug laced cupcakes to students in the community.

When their apartment was searched, 42 pieces of drugged cakes were recovered from them.”
