POPULAR Nollywood star, Junior Pope Odonwodo was seen on a video on their way to a Film Location warning the Speedboat Driver to reduce his speed but he would not listen until it capsized killing the young actor and three others.

Junior Pope was heard telling the driver,

“No vex bro. Na only me dem born, I get three children, na me go raise them, na only me dem born o. (He shouted again), Oh Jesus! What is this? Bros, I beg, I beg, I get three children, na me go raise them….”

A friend, @LawrenceOkoro on his X.com monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE wrote,

I’ve been seeing posts about the drowning of Nollywood popular actor, Jnr Pope.

They said he posted the 1st video of him cruising and pleading with the boat captain to slow down.

2nd video with 2 lifeless bodies. They said it’s Jnr Pope, the body was clearly wearing different clothes from the 1st video, but the body has same beards with Jnr Pope.

Actors often change outfits from time to time based on different contents, so I can imagine he could have changed his outfit and then the accident might have occurred on their way back from the location or while they were shooting another scene.

Either ways, I sincerely pray the news isn’t true because he clearly stated “I’ve got 3 kids, na me go raise dem”.

IF YOU MUST GET ON A BOAT, YOU MUST WEAR A LIFE VEST. IT’S SUICIDAL TO SAIL WITHOUT A LIFE VEST.”

He met his untimely death in River Niger along with three others.
