THE Osun State Network Security Corps otherwise known as Amotekun paraded a robber among others who robbed motorcyclists of their motorcycles, killed the Riders and sold their body parts to an Islamic Cleric based in Ilorin.
In a Press briefing on Monday, September 23, 2024 by the Commander of the Amotekun Corps in Osun, Dr. (Hon) Omoyele Isaac Adekunle, he said many crimes were bursted and many suspected criminals were arrested in various parts of the State.
One of the suspected robber according to the Commandant, the robber identified as Olaniyan Afeez, 37 specialized in snatching motorcycles and killing the victims and selling their parts to the ‘Alfa’ in Ilorin.
“On the 11/9/2024 at about 15000 HR information was received from a reliable source that one Olaniyan Afeez 37yrs a specialist in Motorcycle snatching and killing of his victims.
The suspect confessed to the killing of scores of Okada Commercial Motorcycle riders by hiring his victims to undeveloped site under the pretense that he work in that site.
He operates in Osogbo and environs. He confessed that after killing his victims, he used to sell the corpses or remains to an alfa in Kwara State.

He mentioned that he has killed more than fifteen (15) motorcyclists. He also commerce with some herbalist who also buy some human parts from him. Investigation is on-going.”

The Commandant said residents of Osun should be careful of their movements in this ‘Ember’ times especially Okada Riders should be mindful of where they carry their passengers to. He advised them to desist from going to isolated areas and uncompleted buildings in the state.
He said all the suspects will be transferred to the Osun State Police Command for further investigations and prosecutions.
