IT was like a war scene when Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC officials stormed the Kogi State Governor’s Lodge to arrest former Governor Yahaya Bello on Wednesday night, September 18, 2024.
Gunshots were heard like a country without protocols, the anti-graft agency did not succeed to effect the arrest of the former governor.
It was reported on Wednesday that Bello visited the EFCC with a convoy led by the incumbent Governor of Kogi State Ododo.
The Chairman of EFCC Olukoyede gave a directive that it was Bello that was invited to report not the governor and his entourage, therefore he could not be questioned by the EFCC because of the Immunity of the governor.
