The suspect was alleged to have killed a 75-year-old relative, Mr Martin Orakwe after they had a little misunderstanding.

It could be recalled that a man had earlier been reported last week Wednesday, to have committed suicide without any reason for the action, however, investigations today has eventually revealed that the deceased was framed up and hanged to create an impression that he committed suicide by Ozioma Orakwe.

However, while the suspect was paraded by the Anambra Police Command, she confessed to the crime and blamed the devil for her actions.

Additionally, while speaking to newsmen on Friday, she said, “the deceased and I had a little misunderstanding which later resulted to fight. I was angry and didn’t know when I hit him with a glass cup in my hand.

Unfortunately, he lost his life in the process. I was afraid people would judge me for killing the old man that was why I decided to hang him and pretend as if he committed suicide.”

The State Police Command’s Spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, who confirmed the incident disclosed that the suspect would be charged to court when the investigation is concluded.
