An unidentified Chief was attacked by his wife who smashed his head with wood and bathe him with boiling water.

 

As the was groaning in pains as he narrated that the incident happened when he was asleep.

 

The Chief narrated that his wife was a quick tempered woman who said she suspected he had side chick.

“I am Chief Philip Uwenoh from Okpe village in Delta State, my wife is from Anderson family in Ekpa. She poured me hot water on Friday around after 10pm in the night.

After pouring the hot water, she took wood she hide in the house to hit my head three times.  I struggled and escaped, enter my vehicle and drove to this hospital.  I bleed a lot but God just help me.
