FULL TEXT OF IPOB LETTER TO JUSTICE JUMMAI SANKEY:
“Dear Hon. Justice Jummai Sankey, I am writing to express my deepest condolences regarding the loss of your husband, Prof Sankey, the former Director General of NIPPS. We were deeply saddened to hear of his assassination by @NigeriaGov, sponsored assassins, and we offer our sincere condolences for the pain that you and your family must be feeling during this difficult time.
We know that Prof Sankey was a great man who dedicated his life to public service. His contributions to the development of Nigeria were truly significant, and he will be sorely missed.
The fact that he was targeted and murdered in cold blood in other to intimidate other Judges is beyond heartbreaking and unacceptable. Our movement, #IPOB, strongly condemns this senseless act of violence and demands that those responsible be brought to justice. We know how important it is to deliver justice, especially in cases where innocent people are being wrongly targeted.
@MaziNnamdiKanu benefitted from your court when you stood still against
@OfficialAPCNg‘s oppressive regime to deliver a landmark Judgement on October 13th last year. We also empathize with you as the spouse and family of the victim. Losing a loved one in such a brutal manner is indeed a great loss, and we hope that you find the strength to get through this difficult time. Once again, please accept our condolences. We pray for your comfort and that your family finds solace during this trying moment. Sincerely, IPOB Liverpool Central 28/05/2023.”
