The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, Hon. Ishaq Ahmed Kana on Friday, paid a condolence visit to the Onah of Toto, Alhaji Muhammad Umar Azaki, over the death of the Chief Imam of Toto, Ahmad Liman.
ONAH OF TOTO:Â The visit came five days after the demised of the cleric. The cleric had died, on Monday morning, leaving behind two wives and 14 children.
His remains were buried same day of his death according to Islamic injunction.

The hopeful Governorship candidate arrived Onah’s palace a few minutes after 12 PM and left about 20 minutes later.
He was accompanied by Toto DG. Campaign Chief Audu Bako, Toto LG SDP Chairman, Hon. Ismaila Ahege, ward party Chairmen and stalwarts among others.
Kana extolled the virtues of the late Chief Imam, describing him as pious and humble.
“I share in the pain the Toto community and family of the deceased is passing through and no mortal can question God on what has been destined to happen that Allah is the only one who giveth and taketh”.

The politician fervently prayed God to give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant the soul of late Liman eternal repose”.
He also described the death of Mallam Ahmadu Liman as unfortunate and sudden, Kana said he decided to come and identify with the bereaved family in their moment of grief.
The Onah of Toto equally spoke of the good deeds of the late cleric, adding that Toto, the State, in general, would miss him.

Meanwhile, Hon. Kana also visited the family residence to paid condolence visit which he was warmly received by family members and they thank him for identifying with them at this critical time of pain, praying God to return him back safely to his destination.
