THE Senator representing the Ondo State Senatorial District, Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim has vowed to pursue his case relating to the All Progressives Congress, APC Primary election that declared the incumbent Governor, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa the winner to a logical conclusion.
Jimoh claimed that election did not take place in 203 Wards including the Governor’s Ward making reference to INEC report.
In a Press Conference on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, the Senator said he has exhausted “all internal party mechanisms” within the hiarachy of the APC “for political settlement” by cancelling the election and another one conducted all to no avail.

“I am already in court with the determination to pursue the case to a logical conclusion at the Supreme Court.
I have exhausted all the internal party mechanisms for political settlement, including a written petition to the Appeal Committee set up by the party, and also wrote to the National Working Committee, NWC the highest decision making of the party, all to no avail.
Therefore, I am at liberty to approach the court of law for judicial solutions.
This is an appeal to your committee to cancel the Primary election held in Ondo state on 20th April 2024 on the ground that there was no election in the 203 wards” – Senator ( Dr)Jimoh Ibrahim CFR”
