A 37-yesr-old man identified as Mubarak Olanrewaju Sulaiman gunned down by dare devil armed robbers at Idi-Ape along Iwo Road, IBADAN, Oyo State on Thursday, February 10, 2022 was buried on Friday evening amidst tears by friends and relatives.

Sulaiman was buried in line with Islamic rites at a Muslim cemetery in Akinyele.
Mubarak Olanrewaju Sulaiman, whose identity was revealed by some of his close associates and friends during chats with newsmen and referred to as an ‘onlooker’ in a statement by the police, was shot by armed robbers who attacked a bullion van around Idi Ape, Ibadan.
He was buried on Thursday night after his body was released at the University College Hospital (UCH) where he was moved shortly after the incident.

It was gathered that Sulaiman’s two-year-old son, who was in the car with his father, was lucky to escape unhurt.
Reports gathered that the man was coming from Ikire in Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State, where he had gone to pick his son.
Sulaiman was, until his death, personal assistant to Professor Ganiyu Raji, resident electoral commissioner, in Osun State.
