Correspondents of the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) Osun State Chapter escaped death by the whiskers when their vehicle came under heavy attack by hoodlums at Gbongan Road after Governor Oyetola’s campaign rally at Ode-Omu Gbongan Ayedaade Local Government Council of the Osun State.
The incident occurred at 5:45pm on Monday evening while the vehicle was conveying the correspondents who went to cover Governor Oyetola’s campaign Rally to their respective homes.
The vehicle was badly damaged by the miscreants during the attack. Quick intervention of the police saved the day. Some vehicles were damaged while people sustained minor injuries.
The hoodlums stoned Toyota Highlander belonging to the Publisher of SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS, Adesoji Omosebi.

The stone missed its target as it only hit the side of the car.
Meanwhile, Oyetola promised the mammoth crowd who thronged the rally that he will consolidate on his achievements in the past three and half years in power if he is voted in as Governor for the second term on July 16, 2022.
