JUST IN: Oldest Tortoise At Soun Ogbomoso Palace Is Dead

The legendary tortoise at the palace of Soun of Ogbomoso land is dead.

Private Secretary to Soun of Ogbomoso,Toyin Ajamu says ‘Alagba’ (as being fondly called by people of the community) died in the early hour of Thursday October 3rd at the age of 344.
The tortoise was brought to the palace by the third Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ikumoyede Ajao, who ruled the land of the valiant in the 17th century.
