JUST IN: OSUN Assembly Speaker, Timothy Owoeye escapes death in car crash

The Honourable Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon. Timothy Owoeye on Thursday, October 13, 2022 narrowly escaped death along Osogbo-Ilesha Highway in a terrible accident.c

According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Kunle Alabi occured along Osogbo-Ilesa Highwat when a vehicle in the opposite direction rammed into the Convoy thus resulting in an head-on collision.

Alabi said those who sustained various degrees of injuries had been rushed to UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital and House of Assembly clinic for treatment.

The accident caused a gridlock on the Ilesa expressway as the damaged vehicles covered the major part of the road.

The condition of the Hon Owoeye is not known as at the time of filing this report.
