Eager to boost the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the next year’s general elections, the Osun State chapter of the South-West Agenda(SWAGA ’23) has reinvigorated the body by officially appointing a seven-man Working Committee that will paddle its canoe into fruition.

 

 

 

Distributing the appointment letters to the Osun SWAGA Working Committee members at the State Secretariat of the group at Ogooluwa area of Osogbo yesterday, its State Shairman, Hon Ayo Omidiran, stated that the members were carefully selected based on their track records of exemplary performance and unalloyed loyalty to the progressive ideals in the state.

 

 

 

She explained that the main task of SWAGA which is the topmost group that has been advancing the presidential course of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu popularly known as ‘Jagaban Borgu’ is to enhance his victory at the polls in the state.

Mrs Omidiran who was a former House of Representatives member who represented Isokan, Irewole, Aiyedaade Federal Constituency enjoined the Osun SWAGA Working Committee members to brace up and hit the ground running for the task ahead of them as time wasn’t on their side.

The Osun State SWAGA Chairman disclosed that everything legally possible should be deployed to the Asiwaju Tinubu’s election project in order for the APC presidential candidate to come out victorious with a wide margin in the general elections.

At the inaugural committee meeting of Osun SWAGA ’23, the State Chairman disclosed that the commissioning of the State Headquarters of the group would hold on Thursday November 3rd, 2022, by the State Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

She explained that she was not in doubt that the members of the Osun SWAGA ’23 Working Committee would perform excellently as they have been displaying the enviable level of their commitment towards progressive activities in the state.

Mrs Omidiran disclosed that the Osun SWAGA House would become a beehive of activities on the Tinubu presidential election as quite a number of programmes that would enhance the election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be holding at the new headquarters of the pro-Tinubu group.

The newly-appointed SWAGA ’23 Osun State Working committee members are: Hon Ayo Omidiran, Chairman; Hon Rotimi Makinde, Deputy Chairman; Hon Tilewa Sijuwade, Secretary; Alhaji Bola Oyebanji, Financial Secretary; Alhaja Folake Olaniyan, Treasurer; Mr Kunle Alagbada, Organizing Secretary and Chief Kola Olabisi, Public Relations Officer.
