Lagos-Ibadan Train runs out of fuel in the forest (WATCH REFUELING+PHOTOS+DETAILS)

PASSENGER Train got stopped abruptly along Lagos-Ibadan route on Thursday, March 10, 2022 when it ran out of fuel in the forest.

According to a Twitter user, King Isaiah Obadore, who was reportedly on the train, the crew members said the train stopped moving because it had exhausted diesel.

“Boarded Train from Ibadan to Lagos. We’re still stuck in the forest with unknown Chinese Men,” Obadore said.

“They said fuel finished. What a beautiful country, Nigeria.”

The National Carrier was able to leave the spot after the operators got a ‘Jerrycan’ they must have bought from the ‘black market’ at exorbitant price per litre.

PUNCH captured the moment the train was refilled with fuel to get the train going.
