The former lawmaker representing Ile-Ife federal constituency, Honorable Rotimi Makinde has charged the newly sworn in Local Government Councillors in Osun State to be focused and remain worthy of emulation.
Hon. Makinde gave this advise while addressing the press in his hometown in Ile-Ife today.

Makinde said, “_As much as I congratulate the newly sworn in councillors in Osun state, I also want to remind them of the moral burden placed on them. They really need to be proactive in delivering their duties to ensure victory for the party come 2018 governorship election.

As a realist, I strongly believe failure to do just that means they would all be the first casualties come November 27th 2018 without any bias thoughts.”
“With this responsibility placed on you, the best way to justify the confidence bestowed on you is to continue to be a good ambassador in your various wards and to ensure you do only those things that would endear the party programs in the minds of the people. “

The ex-House of representative member advised the newly sworn-in Councillors among other leaders in the party to all note that the challenges before Osun APC as a party is to ensure the continuity of party in government.
It will be a collective responsibility and challenges for all and not a time for merry making, failure to do just that is to see you being addressed as former Councillors.
