Man Allegedly Kills 83 Year Old Woman, Steals Her Household Goods(READ INSIDE LIFE STORY)

A 20-year-old man was arrested by the police for allegedly killing an 83-year-old grandmother before stealing some of her household goods at her home in Kagundu-ini, Murang’a county.

 

 

Reportedly, the body of the deceased, Pauline Wanjiku was found laying lifelessly in her house by her neighbours on 24th October 2022 with her hands tied on her back, a head scarf hanging loosely on her neck and blood oozing from her mouth.

 

 

The police were called to the scene only to find out that the deceased 32-inch television set, electric jiko and mobile phone had been stolen.

The police initiated investigations which led them to the Waithaka area, Dagoretti constituency in Nairobi where the suspect was hiding.

The police immediately recovered the electronic jiko from the television they found it with the second suspect identified as Wikilister Awuor who claimed that he had bought it for 5,000 shillings from the main suspect.

Another lady Mercy Kadenge, who was caught with the deceased phone admitted that the main suspect sold it to her for 600 shillings.

Currently, 4 suspects have been arrested and are currently detained at Kandara police station awaiting to be arraigned in court facing murder charges.
