The Governor of Ogun State, Mr Dapo Abiodun was at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries’ Power Must Change Hands on Saturday to give his testimony on how he journeyed through the past years to become the governor of Ogun State today.
Mr Abiodun who was clad in a native attire was welcomed to the rostrum with a loud ovation from the congregation.
In a testimony monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS on a live program of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries monthly program tagged: Power Must Change Hands (PMCH) anchored by its General Overseer, Dr Daniel Olukoya, the governor gave accounts of his tribulations in the hand a strongman (name not mentioned) in the state.
In his testimony, he said,
“By the special Grace of God, I am the Governor of Ogun State and more importantly I am a member of this church. “
“My testimony will be short, I am here to testify to the awesomeness of God in the life of a man. God has used me to prove that He, indeed, He is God. He would remain God and man would never be God. Am sure most of you know the details of my story.”
“Man threatened, man swore, man did everything to stop God from fulfilling His plan in my life. But God in His infinite mercy prevailed. That same God that had done it for me would move every single mountain in your life, in the name of Jesus.
In 1996, I run an election to be a Senator in Ogun East Senatorial District, I won that election but before I was sworn-in, the Head of State then, passed on. It was not meant to be.
In 2006, I attempted to be the governor of Ogun State, I came second to Otunba Gbenga Daniel, I still did not give up.
In 2015, I ran to be Senator in Ogun State, the same Ogun East Senatorial District. It was not meant to be.

In 2018, I did not even want to run, but all the lines kept on falling in pleasant places. Because all the while God was indeed preparing me for this journey. I was telling the G.O. just now, when people asked me, how much bitterness do I have in me for the level of intolerance I went through over the course of this election, my answers to them has always been the same, I say to them with all sense of humility, if there was not a Judas we would not have a Messiah today. At times God places a pool in our part because He wants us to achieve our destiny.”
“God tests us, He put us through the crucibles because he is indeed preparing us for a higher calling. May all your tests and tribulations become a testimony in the name of Jesus.

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu who had earlier testified, a few months ago to the goodness of God for his victory as the Lagos State Governor, sat beside his Ogun State counterpart, Governor Dapo Abiodun at the PMCH program at the MFM, Prayer City.
The General Overseer, Dr Daniel Olukoya prayed for the duo that God should continue to “keep these men for us, Governors of Ogun and Lagos State, they shall excel and no power shall pull them down.”
