Could it have been a matter of coincidence?
Abiola died mysteriously causing social unrest in the country especially in the Southwest before another democratic election was conducted ushering President Olusegun Obasanjo on October 1, 1999.
Obasanjo’s ascension to power was a game plan to pacify the Yorubas whose son died mysteriously under the watch of the Federal Government.
The rest is history.

That’s Nigeria for us all, after all the only and only Evil Genius in the nation’s history through his so-called publication of my Year’s in service tried to douse the tension after decades of his atrocity in murdering the people’s mandate, hmmm, I reserve my comment further!!!
The mysterious death of MKO Abiola in detention remains a mystery, too mystical to unravel. But the truth remains that everyone that was involved in the annulment of the mandate freely given to Abiola (either alive or Dead ) can never escape God’s judgement.
