Mid-Term Break For Schools During 2019 General Elections – READ TO GET PREPARED

The Federal Ministry of Education has made arrangements for mid-term break for all the citadel of learnings nationwide to embark on mid-term break for the purpose of general elections coming up this month.

At the meeting with the Ministry of Education today it was agreed schools will have 2 “half term breaks” to cover both the presidential and gubernatorial elections:

1. First break from February 13th – February 18th. Classes resume on Tuesday, February 19th. Boarders return on the evening of February 18th.

2. Second “half-term break” from February 28th – March 4th. Classes resume on Tuesday, March 5th. Boarders return on the evening of February 4th.
