It was a life full of agonies and pains for the mother of a 14-year-old girl, Miss Jumoke Oyeleke who was allegedly shot dead by the police during the Yoruba Nation rally at Ojota in Lagos on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
According to the mother of Jumoke Oyeleke, a widow; she was shocked with utter disbelief that her first child who is her only girl was shot dead in cold blood in the shop where she was working.
Mrs Oyeleke said when she approached the police to see the body of her daughter, she was threatened with gun. She went further that she has not been allowed to remove the body of her daughter for burial.
She called on Nigerians to fight for her. She said if no one fights for her she would hand over her travails in the hands of God.
The family comprised of four children, Jumoke as the first child and three other boys without a father.
