THE National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Enugu State Chapter has called for the immediate release of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The statement issued by the leadership of the association available to SOJ WORLDWIDE was posted on the official Twitter Page of Pastor Okezie.
The Chairman of the state chapter of the association, Comrade Prisca Okeke who read a prepared speech said,
“the continuous detention of Nnamdi Kanu is a matter that stirs discontent right at the heart of Igbo Nation. As Igbos, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is our father, our brother, our kinsman, but beyond that as students, we are grasses that suffered while the elephant fights ”
