THE Next Level Progressives Movement for Asiwaju and Shettima, NLPMFAS felicitated with former Spokesman of the 9th National Assembly, Senator Ajibola Bashiru (SRJ) on his new appointment as the new National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at National Executive Committee of the party on Thursday, August 3, 2023.
The Campaign Director-General of NLPMFAS who is also the Chairman of Obokun East LCDA, Chief Owoeye Samuel Abiodun (OSA) on behalf of his campaign group poured encomiums on SRJ over the excellent roles he played as the Spokesman of the 9th National Assembly combining with being the Campaign Director-General of former Governor Osun State in the July 16, 2023 Governorship election in the State.
According to the Press Release personally signed by Owoeye available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, said SRJ combined the roles of the youths and elders in the political parlance which he performed creditably well with commendation from all age groups.

“We are extremely happy for the appointment of two sons of Osun State into two critical positions within 24 hours.
Former Governor of Osun was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Minister and less than 24 hours, SRJ was appointed the National Secretary of APC by the National Executive Committee of the party. We can only continue to celebrate because we have reasons to celebrate. I have no doubt in me that SRJ will prove himself with outstanding performance as the National Secretary of the largest party in Africa. We wish him good luck in his new office.”
It will be recalled that SRJ stepped into shoes of Senator Iyiola Omisore who voluntarily resigned his position in July, 2023.
