Nigerian traders and other foreigners trading in Ghana Capital, Accra are facing tough times in Ghana because they are unable to meet the conditions laid down by the Ghanian authority.

When the security forces and the union arrived to close the shops, the atmosphere was peaceful initially until it degenerated into chaos when the foreigners refused forceful closure of their shops.

The  Ghanian authority demanded among others a one million US Dollars  as initial capital to start a business in the country.
