Some Twitter users on Tuesday attacked the Presidential Spokesman of ATIKU Campaign Organization, Daniel BWALA for criticizing the United States delegation to the Swearing-in of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU on May 29, 2023 as the Executive President of Nigeria.

Bwala took to his official Tweeter Page monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE, that if US President Joe Biden is in support of the election, he should have sent the Secretary of State instead of a Minister of Urban and House.

Bwala added that the delegation is “further proof of US conditioner appearance or appearance in protest.

Bwala wrote,

“The delegation of US to Tinubu’s planned inauguration is a further proof of US conditional appearance or appearance in protest. The normal protocol is to send the president, vice P or Secretary of State BUT secr of urban and housing is to say the least an appearance in protest.

When Buhari was to be Inaugurated in 2015 it was Kerry, the Secretary of State that showed up. Fact-check me. Whenever the US accepts, recognize and endorse an election outcome. The send either the President , Vice President or Secretary of State.

Their planned appearance in this case is merely a diplomatic courtesy and not a celebration. They even packed staff (Not the Ambassador) from their embassy in Abuja to attend. For the record, the Ambassador is more important than the secretary of housing and urban development.”

“@woye1

This is not true. it is not compulsory that Secretary of State represents the President. During Inauguration of Cyril Ramphosa of South Africa and Akufo Addo that Obama and Trump sent delegations. Read those people that came.  Woye cited South Africa, Ghana, Kenya and Zambia as an example. The US President  delegated Chairman of Import and Export to lead delegation to South Africa and Minister to Ghana.”

“@InyaliPeter

In 2013, US Presidential delegation to the inauguration of former Ghana President, John Mahama was led by Daniel W. Yohannes, CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation. In 2021, US delegation to the inauguration President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana was also led by Dr. J. Peter Pham, Ambassador, US Special Envoy for the Sahel Region of Africa. You can do better. Stop disgusting attempt to mislead your gullible followers.”

Well done Dani de law… I hail ooo… Keep bumbing them…”

“@Otunba_FAA

The legitimacy of Asiwaju Tinubu’s victory at the poll and his presidency from May 29 is not predicated on the presence of POTUS or anyone in US delegation at Jagaban’s inauguration. 8.7million Nigerians voted PBAT and he won the election fair and square!”.
