Nigerian Gospel Artiste, Aduke Ajayi popularly known as Aduke Gold is dead.

The news of her demise was shared on social media by fellow gospel musician, Esther Igbekele, on Tuesday.

Reports indicate that Aduke Gold died on Monday, though the specific cause of her death remains undisclosed.

Aduke Gold gained prominence in the gospel music scene with her inspirational song “Nitori Ogo,” meaning “Because of Glory.”

 

She has an impressive discography, with popular tracks on Apple Music, including “Shina Ayo,” “No Be Joke,” “Temidayo,” “Gbemiga,” and her most recent release, “Kobo.”

 

Hailing from Osun State, Aduke Gold was academically accomplished, holding a degree in History and International Relations from Lagos State University (LASU).

She furthered her education in the United Kingdom, earning qualifications in Child Psychology, Montessori education, Special Education, and various other fields.
