The several automobile parks in Ibadan, the state capital, resumed normal operations on Monday, only 24 hours after the new Executive Council members of the Oyo State Parks Management System were inaugurated.

After the ousting of Mukaila Lamidi, the fugitive leader of the disbanded Parks Management System, also known as Auxillary, transporters moved into the multi-billion naira Bus Terminal at both the Challenge and the Ojoo areas, which had been under lock and key. This was noted by our correspondent who visited some of the parks within the Ibadan metropolis.

It was reported that Auxiliary was declared wanted by the Oyo State Police Command for allegedly stockpiling arms and ammunition after the PMS was dissolved by the state Governor, Seyi Makinde.
