SELF styled TableShaker, Reno Omokri has taken a swipe at the former Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, LP in the February 25, 2023 Presidential elections, Peter OBI.
Omokri attacked Obi for politicising the stampede at the Nigerian Customs Service, NSC yard at Harvey Road, Yaba that resulted in the death of seven persons struggling to buy N10,000 bag of rice.
Omokri said Obi has never said anything good about the successes recorded in the GDP growth, recent appreciation of the Naira, 50% fuel importation reduction except when bad things happen.
He therefore advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint Peter Obi as Minister of ‘Bad Politicising News.’
“Nigeria’s GDP grew by 3.4%, Obi did not react.
Fuel import reduced by 50%. Obi did not react.
Capital importation rose by 66%.
He did not talk
Nigeria Stock Exchange attained 100,000 ASI.
The highest ever. Obi did not react.
Oil production rose to 1.55 MBD. Obi was quiet.
There was a stampede while the Nigerian customs sold cheap rice.

Nobody politicised it. Yet, this same Peter Obi is now politicising the death of seven citizens who died during a stampede for cheap rice in Lagos.
Stampedes happen even in the wealthiest countries on Earth. Again, fact-check me: Multiple people die almost annually in America during stampedes on Black Friday when shops have their sales. Does that mean America is finished? Must we politicise death?

Open your eyes. Anybody who is getting drunk with joy over the depreciation of the Naira is not a patriotic citizen.
Whoever is politicising death from the Lagos stampede is anti-Nigerian.
These are people with secessionist agenda.
They do not want Nigeria to succeed. They want it to fail so they can get their dream. If not, how can an individual be happy when their national currency is being manipulated?
Okay, since the Naira started appreciating, have you seen them rejoicing? Instead, they are sneering that the appreciation won’t last. They hate Naira. They detest Nigeria. Please do not join them. You are a Nigerian. Celebrate as the Naira recovers.
May God continue frustrating all enemies of Nigeria.
