Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, the Executive Governor of Osun State will begin his thank you tour of Osun State from April 23, 2018 before the commencement of the gubernatorial campaigns of his party, APC.

It should be noted that in spite of verbal attacks from his critics, Ogbeni Aregbesola cannot be easily forgotten on his tireless work and achievements in Osun State.
He is termed to be an unusual governor by his ardent supporters, for, he has come to change the face of Osun State for better than he met it especially on infrastructural developments across the state.
His two term tenure ends in a matter of months hence the struggles on who steps into his shoes.

In a press release by the Director,
Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy,
All Progressives Congress, State of Osun, Dr. Kunle Oyatomi (Esq), the statement reads, “Prior to a full blast of campaign activities for the September 2018 governorship election, the incumbent Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is starting a goodwill visit to parts of the state, beginning Monday, April 23, 2018.â€
“The visit will be to all Federal constituencies. Starting Monday, he will be at Ile Ife in Ife Federal constituency and the following day, the team moves to Ilesha in Ijesha South Federal Constituency. On Thursday, April 26, he will berth at Ijebu Jesha in Ijesha North Federal Constituency and on Friday, April 27, the train moves to Ikirun in Ifelodun Federal Constituency.â€
“On Monday, April 30, in Ila, the Federal Constituency will host the Governor and his team while it will be the turn of Ede on Tuesday, May 1. Ikire will host the team on Thursday, May 3, 2018.
Iwo will host on Friday May 4 while the finale will be in Osogbo on Monday May 7, 2018.â€
“The governor is expected to review events of the last seven and half years and what progress has been made.â€
To whom much is given much is expected, Ogbeni Aregbesola could not have succeeded without the support of the people.
