OGUN House of Assembly member arrested for harboring six deadly Cultists

A member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Damilare Mohammed representing Sagamu Constituency I and six others have been arrested on suspicion of being members of a cult by the Department of State Security Services.

 

 

 

The suspects were apprehended while on Damilare Mohammed’s property.

 

 

The Punch reported that Damilare Mohammed was hiding the six alleged cult members in his home.

 

 

 

The Cultists are suspected to be involved in the recent four days bloody fightings between competing cults in Sagamu, which resulted in eight gruesome deaths.

Damilare Bello Mohammed, also known as DRE, Debbo Animashaun, Bamidele Saheed, Ismaila Onitire, Adewale Otesanya, and Tobi Owoade were all named as suspects.

 

 

 

The suspects were in possession of firearms and other lethal weapons.

 

 

 

Interrogation of the suspects is currently underway at the DSS headquarters where they are being held.
