Omoworare Drums Support For APC To Put Ife In Main Stream Politics

The Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Babajide Omoworare has been on votes mobilisation drive for APC candidates in Ife and Ijesa land ahead of the House of Assembly elections across Osun East and Ife land in particular. Omoworare said the drive is borne out of necessity to put Ife in main stream politics.

Over the weekend, the Senator hosted his family compound meeting and visited other compound meetings and voters clusters ahead of Saturdays’ election which he described as a must win for APC candidates to place Ile-Ife in good stead politically.

Omoworare laid emphasis on the imperative of Ife to emb. race mainstream politics. According to the Senator, “Ife can not afford to go into absolute opposition and to make maximum political gains that will facilitate holistic development of Ife”.

He went further to admonish voters to vote for the APC for the House of Assembly elections to have unfettered access to the governor of Osun for maximum political development and other gains.

Speaking at a vote mobilisation forum, Omoworare said, “APC is in of Presidency and State Government, Buhari is the President, Oyetola is the Governor of Osun, it is important for Ife to embrace the central and state government for best result”. Omoworare said.

At another meeting held with ward executives of the APC and SDP, he emphasised the need to take the message of the party for next level and progressive gains for Ile-Ife to the electorates.

“Ife and the people of Ile-Ife are progressive minded and development concious, I have engaged in several productive discussion across structures of government to make maximum and best result for Ife and the Governor has assured me of proper best and unprecedented attention.” He said.

Omoworare went further to say that he has no doubt in the political conciousnes of our people of Ile-Ife and their progressive mindset. I am not relenting in my advocacy for a proper attention for Ifeland and will not fail to ensure that development and Government attention at both state and federal level is accorded Ile-Ife. He concluded.
