The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II, admonished the sterling qualities of the Chairman of Oodu FM, Ile-Ife and former member of the House of Representatives on his roles in lifting the city cradle of Yoruba land high and for identifying with the masses at the grassroots.
The Ooni made this known when Hon Rotimi Makinde made an unscheduled visit to a Resort Centre owned by Ooni along Ibadan Road, Ile-Ife.

He commended the Oodua FM Chairman whose radio station clocks one on air yesterday that, “I’m so happy that you are now very close and stays more at home as a politician.â€
Honourable Rotimi Makinde was at the resort centre owned by the Ooni to observe the progress made so far with the hospitality arena that houses about 350 hotels rooms, live and friendly animals, African village settings, local bars and international restaurants band stand, classical reception etc.
It was while on the inspection tour that Ooni and his entourage reportedly drove into the arena.
Reciprocating the monarch’s gestures, Makinde eulogized the Ooni for “erecting a masterpiece that is unprecedented in the history of Yorubaland, and for truly living up to expectations for transforming Ile Ife,†praying that God continues to preserve the monarch for the use of mankind.
