He said he was impressed with the turn out today and everything was in order.
But the running mate to Action Democratic Party, ADP, Prof. Adeolu Durotoye who casted his votes in the same area said he had reservation about the Card Reader which he complained was too slow to take care of the massive voters on the queue.
He however said the turnout was impressive and sure of victory for his party, ADP.
There was massive turnout in all the places visited with long queues.
INEC got a pat on the back for the peaceful conduct of the election so far. All the places visited were calm and peaceful.
Although, it was reported there were few issues but in the overall, the process of the election had been peaceful.
The unconfirmed results coming out shows that PDP and APC are slugging it out to emerge the winner of the election.
The Chairman of PDP, Soji Adagunodo at his country home confirmed that both INEC and security agencies did a wonderful job and was confident that his party would carry the day.Â
On allegation that his party were involved in vote buying he denied the allegation and posited that it is only the ruling party, APC that has such money to buy votes because they are jittery and afraid of losing.
The Director-General of Oyetola Campaign Team, Hon Famurewa said almost all the opposition parties were involved in vote buying but maintained his confidence that APC would surely win the election remained unshaken.
As at the time of writing this report, the situation was dicey as final results are still being collated.
It was said this was the first election in the history of Osun State that would have the most massive turnout.
