JUST IN: Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s first reaction to OSUN APC 2018 primary election (A MUST READ)

OSUN APC PRIMARY 2018: The Osun State government has issued a statement calling on all aspirants of All Progressives Congress (APC) contesting today’s primary election into office of governor of the state to eschew politics of bitterness.

In a statement issued on behalf of Ogbeni Aregbesola and Executive Council of Osun State, the Media Adviser to the Governor, Sola Fasure enjoined all APC aspirants to eschew politics of blackmail, bitterness and rancour.

“Council admonished its members and other All Progressives Congress (APC) party stalwarts contesting Friday’s primary election into the Office of the Governor to eschew politics of bitterness, blackmail, slander and character assassination but worked hard to sell their candidature to the voters.”

“Council required them to display the highest ideals of democracy and provide true democratic leadership for the people. Council encouraged them to refrain from any action or utterances that will drag the government, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its leaders (in the state and nationally) in the mud.”

The statement concluded, “He urged them to abstain from actions and statements capable of pulling down the house we have all laboured hard to build in eight years of meritorious service to the people.

“He enjoined them to put the people first before their personal ambition and never forget that it is God almighty that enthrones and dethrones as He wills.

Ogbeni Aregbesola on behalf of the Executive Council of the state “wished them good luck in their endeavour.”
