Hon (Mrs) Taiwo Oluga has said the issues within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun is internal party issues that will be resolved before the 2022 governorship election.

Mrs Oluga representing Irewole, Ayedaade and Isokan Federal Constituency of Osun at the Federal House of Representatives was the Special Guest at the Osun Media Parley organized by the Osun Online Media Practitioners Association (OOMPA) at Ben Ber Hall, Osogbo on Monday, September 27, 2021.
Oluga who was asked which of the divide she belongs among the two factions of APC, ILERI-OLUWA and TOP in Osun and what efforts she has taken to resolve the crisis before the 2022 gubernatorial elections.
She was quick to say that since the factions are within the APC, it is an internal party issues and the elders in the party will resolve it before the 2022 gubernatorial elections because her Party, APC has mechanism for resolving issues.

Oluga added that the issues would not have escalated to the level it is presently if not for the followers who are only fighting for their selfish interests. She said efforts have been made by the National Assembly caucus in Osun which includes Senator OriOlowo and Senator Ajibola Bashiru (SRJ) to resolve the issue when it initially reared its ugly head meeting former Osun State Governor, Chief Bisi Akande.
She also said they also met separately with Ogbeni Rauf Aragbesola and the incumbent Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola and both of them said there was no issues or any animosity between them.
She quoted Aregbesola’ as saying that his successor, Oyetola is a “cerebral successor”, that he is a man of intelligence rather than emotions.

Oluga confirmed that Aregbesola’ laid the foundation for the new face of Osun while he is succeeded by a man he described as ‘cerebral’.
She, however, appealed to all warring factions to sheathe their swords and allow peace to reign in Osun.
Meanwhile, Oluga commended the Osun Online Media Practitioners (OOMPA) for their objective reportage. She enjoined them not to fall for fake news that is prevalent in the social media.
