Osun Former Commissioner, Baderinwa, CPS, Omipidan to Be Inducted as NIPR Member

A former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Osun state, Mr Adelani Baderinwa and Mr Ismail Omipidan, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Gboyega Oyetola will tomorrow be inducted as members of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. (NIPR)

The induction ceremony will take place at Leisure Spring Hotel, Osogbo at 10am.

Baderinwa, who is currently supervising the ministry of Information and Strategy in the Oyetola administration, is a graduate of Mass Communication and posses two Masters Degree in Communication and Language Arts, and Public Administrations.

He had served as a commissioner under Governor Rauf Aregbesola, Chief Press Secretary to governor Bisi Akande, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Ekiti state council and Secretary of NUJ, Oyo council.

Omipidan, a native of Ila Orangun, was an Assistant Editor, in charge of Politics at The Sun Publishing Limited, Lagos before he was appointed as CPS.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, and a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.
