THE entire sons and daughters of Ilobu in Irepodun Local Government Area of Osun State has called on all and sundry to pray for quick recovery of their son, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff of Nigerian Armed Forces.
In a Press Statement signed by the President, Ilobu Asake Development Union, Pastor Olufemi Salako available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, he thanked Almighty God for His divine intervention and all those who had one way or the other stood by the General at this time.
The Union cautioned those spreading unnecessary rumours to desist from it forthwith.
“The Ilobu-Asake Development Union and entire sons and daughters of Ilobu, the hometown of Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, want to express gratitude to Almighty God for His divine intervention in the life of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, who is currently recuperating from health challenges.
We are thankful for his survival and commend his base team, the medical team and loved ones who have been supporting him during this period.

We hereby call on all religious organizations, faith-based groups in Ilobu-Asake, and well-meaning individuals to intensify prayers for Lt. Gen. Lagbaja’s speedy recovery, strength, and quick return to his critical duties.
Regrettably, we have observed rumors circulating in the social media about his health, we strongly admonish those responsible to desist from spreading unfounded information, which can cause unnecessary anxiety and tension.
